Are you working in the sex industry and looking for a new job? Would you like to get an education or bring your child to Austria?
Are you in an emergency situation and don't know where to sleep tonight?
At AURORA, we support you in these situations with our transitional apartment and short-term crisis accommodation.

Our transitional apartment is aimed at women* who want to leave sex work and start a new career, or pregnant women who need to take a break from work.
We accompany you through the transition process and support you where you need it: e.g., writing applications, finding German courses, and transitioning to a new job and your own apartment.
You don't pay rent, only the operating costs of €150 per month.
You can stay in the apartment for between 6 and 9 months.
You live independently in the transitional apartment. We support and accompany you on the path you want to take. We accompany you to government agencies, help you manage your debts if necessary, and assist you in finding a new job or training program. We also support you in settling into the apartment and your new environment. After the initial phase, when there is a lot to do, we meet weekly for a counseling session.
We have space for two women - if necessary, also for pregnant women or mothers with a small child. The apartment has two large, lockable single rooms; the rest of the living space (living room, dining room, bathroom, and kitchen) is shared.
The apartment is fully furnished and equipped. You can simply move in.
In an initial interview, we will discuss your situation and why you would like to move into the transitional apartment. You can then apply for a place with us. If a place is available and you meet the criteria for moving in, you can move in. Just write to us if you have any questions.
No, the AURORA transitional apartment is not a safety shelter. You live independently with us and can move around freely. However, to ensure basic security, the address remains anonymous and there is access control.
If you need a shelter apartment because you have been a victim of violence or feel unsafe, we will be happy to help you find one. (Write to us or give us a call.)

In an emergency situation, you can stay with us for up to three nights free of charge. During this time, we will work with you to determine how you can move forward.
Are you unable to work due to an intimate illness?
Do you need a little time out?
If you need a place to stay for a few days up to two weeks, we can offer you accommodation in a small apartment. During your crisis stay, we will support you as needed.
This offer is not free of charge, as the accommodation costs about 50-70€ per night must be covered. Too expensive? Call us anyway—we will find a solution together.
